Offline Project

The purpose of this project was to highlight whether your local MP really represents you.  Made in Adobe Flash, the project draws out information from an XML file detailing all MP’s and the way they voted on 10 major issues.  As you work your way through the file answering “yes”, “no” or “abstain” to the questions it compares this to your local MP (based on a postcode) and gives you a percentage based on how closely your MP’s answers reflected your own.

As well as utilising XML from within Flash the project also required smooth animations/sequences and custom elements such as scroll bars and check boxes.
