Wasted IE6 Hours

We all (well almost all) have to deal with it at some point and most of the time it can be a right pain. It is of cause Internet Explorer 6.

I’m sure at some point you’ve been in this situation: Your site is all ready and looking great and then it comes to testing it in IE6 and it’s all gone tit’s up (to use a rather English phrase). If you’ve ever wondered how much time is wasted creating those little hacks and fixes then this might interest you.

Launching the OUFC Membership Scheme

During the last few months of 2009 we’ve been working on the design and development of a brand new website for Oxford United Football Club, one of our ongoing partnerships at Twenty3design. We were asked to design and develop the website to coincide with the launch of the scheme and other marketing.The Membership club is aimed not only at fans of the football club, but also at anyone looking for discounts and offers from a huge range of local, national and international companies and the design needed to represent the club without alienating non-football fans.

The website would be an important part of the scheme keeping subscribers up-to-date on new and continuing offers. The website itself is a full CMS and not only displays the current offer or discounts but also manages access for members only pages.

The design of the site acts as a point of reference for members and prospective members of the club, as well as promoting Oxford United as a provider of quality services to the community.

Not only did we design and build the website but we also offer a discount to members via the club, so if you’re interested check it out!

IKIMP – A New Site

Just updated the blog to Wordpress 2.8.4 and thought I’d celebrate by letting the world know we have recently launched a new site for the nice people at The University of Oxford, Earth Sciences Department.

IKIMP is big news at the moment, lots of people are interested with what the world is doing with Mercury. IKIMP is the academic link between big business and the real facts about Mercury.

Quite geeky all that, but I love learning new things and this has been a project full of new things.

…so we thought we’d create a cool new site that focuses on our development only side (our Code Monkeyness).
